CHEF CAMILO Q.PARAYNO
He is a professional chef that working in EAPP Company. One year ago, he come all way down from Philippine to Malaysia to pursue his dream work. It was not an easy job to work as a chef in butter and oil company. The challenges are there to fulfil each expectation for each products to make the perfect results. It needs a lot of patients and passion.
What inspired you to start baked?
" I love to bake for my family since im 19 years old. And now I'm 54 years old. My family always support my passion and they give me their best advice to pursue it. They are my inspiration what I have become now."
How long have you work as a chef?
"I have been working in this field for 25 years.I started baking in Philippines, then i go to Saudi Arabia for 2 years. Work in Brunei for 16 year, continue with Qatar for 2 years. And now im currently working in Malaysia. Working as professional chef is not just about baking, we need to learn how to handle staff, costing, preparation, and give the best service for our customers."
What is the best memorable experience?
" When I was need to bake a new year giant Eve Cake with a jet plane design. I have been interviewed by TV press and I meet lot of new people."
What is the hardest thing through your career?
" Handling staff is one of the most tricky thing to do. Team work is the most crucial thing need to be always remember. Time management and due date is also one of the thing that always need to be improved.
Why did you decide to become a chef?
" Baking is my hobby and my passion. Is my dream since kid to become chef as my professional work. To share and innovate new recipes and ideas through my hand."
Where do you learn how to cook and bake?
"I never went to school for baking. Every technique I used was from what I had been taught and what I learned from online videos or through trial and error".
